Beerathlon is a 5 km running race combined with beer drinking. The course goes through the countryside and the village of Gerečja vas. The rule is that you must drink one small beer (0.33 l) at every kilometre. The sooner you drink it, the sooner you can continue running. Every competitor will drink 5 small (0.33 l) beers in total.

Registration is limited to persons aged 18 and over due to the consumption of alcoholic beverages. All competitors start together but are divided into 3 categories: men, women and absolute. Trophies are awarded to the top 3 in the absolute category, while medals go to the top 3 in the men's and women's categories.

The start and finish line is at the Sports Park Gerečja vas. Register by completing the registration form and paying the entry fee of EUR 25.
